Rafferty’s Tavern – Cam’s Wharf

Bold, low-maintenance landscaping that elevates the guest experience
This hospitality project required a grand entrance that felt welcoming, cohesive and visually striking. Working from a concept design, we reshaped an outdated rear access into an impressive arrival space featuring sandstone walls, stencil-finished concrete and structured planting chosen for impact and easy care.
With careful coordination across trades and a strong focus on safety and public access, the build remained smooth and professional despite weather challenges and design refinements. The completed landscape now frames the waterfront outlook and sets the tone for dining, events and wedding gatherings.
Cooranbong Valley Community Preschool

Natural play spaces built for learning and exploration
This project transformed an underused corner of the preschool into a child-friendly outdoor learning space featuring a sandstone yarning circle, feature boulders for construction play and a sustainability-focused ‘frog bog’ inspired by the nearby swamp environment.
Working closely with educators and aligning with the National Quality Framework, the Early Years Learning Framework and Australian Standards, we built a space that supports sensory play, safe risk-taking and meaningful engagement with the natural world. Upgraded drainage and softfall ensure durability, while native plantings attract wildlife and connect the children to their local bush environment.
The area is now used daily for morning meetings, storytelling and imaginative play.

Accessible, low-maintenance gardens that support daily wellbeing
For this modern aged-care setting, the landscape needed to balance accessibility, safety and everyday practicality. Working from the existing design intent, we constructed safe pathways, durable garden beds and structured planting that provides year-round interest without heavy maintenance.
Every detail was delivered with resident comfort in mind — from clear sightlines to robust materials suitable for high-use environments. The finished landscape offers a calm, functional outdoor experience for residents, families and staff.
Bolton Clarke – Macquarie View, Cardiff South

Safe, low-maintenance gardens supporting aged-care living
Over several years, our team has worked alongside Bolton Clarke’s facility management, resident committees and head office to progressively upgrade communal gardens, improve steep and difficult-to-access areas, and prepare individual villas for incoming residents.
Set within a bushland environment, every project needed to be low-maintenance, accessible and aligned with the village’s preference for Australian native plantings. Works often required detailed safety compliance—including Police checks and facility protocols—plus considerate communication with residents and construction on steep or rope-access-only embankments.
Through careful staging and a collaborative approach, we delivered outdoor spaces that enhance daily life, support resident engagement and maintain the warm, welcoming feel of the village.
